Google Shopping has some of the strictest requirements of all shopping channels when it comes to product data feeds. If the feed fails to meet Google’s Product Feed Specifications, any products carrying incorrect information may be removed from the search results. Depending on the frequency, amount of products or the severity of the error, your account may even be closed down. The product data in your product feed is what Google uses to match consumer’s search terms as best as possible to the right products, so not only is this the key to your products being shown, but the better the quality of your feed, the more visibility you’ll get.
